Ok I read through all 8 books, back to back....well 7 the last book was hard to get through mostly because of all the repetitive descriptions of characters. And yes everything that happened in the books was great for world building, but the last 2 chapters were the best of book 8.
I enjoyed the entire series, not sure I'll re-read this series. It was good overall and the ending was cute.
