I absolutely love hockey romances and when I saw this one I knew I had to read it.

This story follows Aiden and Summer. Aiden is the captain of the Dalton U hockey team, and he makes it his responsibility to take care of his team on and off the ice. Except the one night he doesn’t, his team gets in trouble. And as captain, Aiden feels it’s his responsibility to take the fall for it. In doing so, he gets assigned to work with Summer, a psychology student working on her research project. As reluctant as they are to work together, they are each other’s last resort. The more they work together, they form a slight friendship and the closer they become.

This book had me laughing literally the entire time! The banter between Aiden and Summer was so funny! They both gave as good as they got and were always ready with a comeback.
Aiden is a complete cinnamon roll and I absolutely loved him. He is not only soft for Summer but for everyone around him. But man the mouth on him..
Summer has an extremely hard exterior and does not let anyone in. Once she lets Aiden in, she loves big and hard. Her character development was great and loved seeing her slowly open up more to Aiden, made their relationship so much sweeter.

If you loved Icebreaker…then I highly recommend this one. It has the same type of vibes. I really loved this story and cannot wait to read more from this author. Thank you to the author for the gifted copy.
