Witches Get Stuff Done (Starfall Point, #1)

I’m gonna be honest - after reading and loving The Ex Hex, I was really looking forward to another small-town, witchy romance, but this book just wasn’t very good.
I had pretty high hopes, since the writing wasn’t bad and it started off fairly strong, but it quickly went down hill from there. I seriously thought I had maybe skipped a whole section of the book, cause the progression of the relationship (and almost everything else) happened so fast it gave me whiplash. It was like they barely just met, and the next moment they were in love and going on dates. There was no point where we could actually witness their relationship grow.
Everything else also progressed at a breakneck speed. There wasn’t any time to actually get to know any of the characters, or develop any (romantic or platonic) relationships. The plot also kinda felt like a afterthought thrown in, and the ending wasn’t satisfying at all.
I think I’m so disappointed in this book because it had great potential. I just wish the author put more care into it. After the initial setup, it kind of felt like the author lost interest and was just rushing to get it done.
