Emma is a travel nurse. She had a traumatic childhood during which she was abandoned by her mother, and as a result she closely guards her heart. Justin is grappling with his mother's imminent prison sentence--during which he will have to take on new responsibilities. Despite the weighty topics, this is a delightful Minnesota summer romance filled with witty banter. This is the first book I've read by Minnesotan Abby Jimenez. I can't wait to read more!
