Charlotte came from a very conservative religious background. She has moved away and started her own life as a realtor in town. However she still has her v-card because she has never found a man who was willing to go her speed that she was attracted to. She is very attracted to Harley but gets tongue tied whenever she goes to talk with him about anything besides business. He had once asked her out on a date but she turned him down wanting to be professional and afraid of his player reputation. Now she stays close to him by relaying picky requests from an "interested buyer" . She is scared to tell him that she is the interested buyer.
Harley is risking it all by going out on his own by rehabbing a home. He really wants it to be a success. Working with Charlotte to please a possible buyer is frustrating him. He is very attracted to Charlotte but the one time he asked her out, she turns him down. He can't forget her but is afraid to try again. When she tells him the truth about the buyer and her feelings, he is ready to try again.
