Loved North Hunter & Aria's book...the emotions....

My word!!! This is the second book in the Highlanders series and I was totally hooked from the prologue.

Aria, this h...she was independent, strong but also so vulnerable, for years men have shredded her self-esteem and even though her mother loved her she in turn was just as bad. She loves and protects her family by always trying to make them happy, but in turn she withdraws from them and just brings up her walls to protect her heart.
Hunter, loved, loved this hero.

He did not have an easy childhood but he worked like hell for the life he had. But his been filled with guilt for certain things that happened in his life, and he just can't let that burden go. He worked so hard for his career but he doesn't have a family, in that sense. And he wants one, and it's with Aria.

Okay, this book had me hooked. I loved the intense chemistry these two had, but I loved how North was so into their relationship, he knew he wanted her and he was willing to do anything to make her see that. The h had a lot of trust issues, but that was understandable and she had to work through them, but having North by her side helped so much. The steamy moments between them was 🥵🌶️ and those last few chapters had me on edge.

Loved catching up with the characters from the previous book. There is mention of the Adair family, and so adding those books to my TBR.
Theo Cavendish, well!!! His something that's for sure, and I can't wait to read his book
