There were parts of this book that I did enjoy. The Salem, Massachusetts setting, the family secrets, the clashes between the local witches and the cult-like religious group, reading people’s future in pieces of lace. However, I just found myself getting bored and confused by the vast majority of the book. Also, some of the reveals made certain aspects of the book more convoluted instead of fully explaining things.
