“Please God, don’t let me die in Texas.”
Duuuuudddee WHAT A RIDE. This book is the mirror image of a western. No Country for Old Men meets The Odyssey… killer combo.
We got magical realism, hell on earth, emissaries of death, prostitutes, Brits, horses, Texas Rangers, and a BAD DUDE as our protagonist.
The biggest surprise was that it’s funny, too. Nice.
