This is an interesting book that has a slightly dark, slightly mafia feel. Jack and Lark were both likable characters, but I was really intrigued by Chrys, a secondary character. This book kept me wondering who was who, what was what, and what was going to happen next. I’m still not sure I know all the answers, which can be good in a book because the reader can take the story wherever their imagination leads. Maybe it’s the mathematician in me that likes resolution and understanding, so I missed having things neatly tied. However, I did find the ending to be very satisfying and enjoyable.
