reread before the second book comes out in a few hours. I STILL LIKE IT!!!!!

from the first chapter, I was squealing and giggling, it’s so funny and I love it so much and never want it to end. I feel like this is going to be my favorite book of the series, just like Ian’s brother’s book was in the original, I’m already looking forward to the many rereads. how much they kind of disliked each other at first, their personalities and bantering and Marc falling for the grubby human, them being vers and the overall plot were very enjoyable and perfect. I’m glad we finally meet Dylan and I wonder if he’s Matt’s man or if he gets his own book, I don’t mind either way and can’t wait for the next one. I am also very happy we got to see the mannix estate family again, no matter how small their part was.

thing I didn’t much like was the slang in the narrative, I don’t care if it’s in his pov and makes it relatable or whatever. I was also disappointed it wasn’t narrated by Nick J Russo, like the original series but honestly, Greg Boudreaux did a good job.
