What a fantastic ending to a sweeping series! In this book, we finally get a hard-won HEA. Along the way, there are very realistic challenges for the survivors as they continue to heal from their trauma. Travis and Carter need to know who each of them are individually after all that they have been through. They also have to learn who they are together and if they can have a future that works for both of them. Carter learns that he is interested in some of the aspects of a BDSM life, but coming out of the world of sex trafficking, some of the similarities are triggering. This book has some tense moments and a lot of relationship angst that works itself out wonderfully. I can't wait to read the next spin-off book!
