I don’t know how Hannah does it. But she blew me away again! I devoured this book and could not put it down. This might be my favorite Brooks Puck Boy!
This story follows Watson and Ryann. Watson is the hot shot goalie at Brooks University signed with a NHL team once he graduates. His focus has always been hockey even with women throwing themselves at him that’s until he finally steps up and shoots his shot with Ryann. Ryann has sworn off men and focused on making her dreams a reality. No time for men after the last relationship had issues. When they team up for a charity event she finds Watson isn’t the typical womanizer she made him to be. Ryann finds herself in a predicament and Watson offers a solution to her that’s hard for her to refuse.
AHHH!! Ryann might be my favorite FMC Hannah has ever written. Her emotional childhood trauma…my heart. She is literally doing anything to survive. Hannah did such an amazing job of showing those struggles and the hardness coming from having to do whatever you can just to make it. Ryann makes no apologies to who she is and I love that!
Oh Watson….literally is the PERFECT boy. He put Ryann first every single time!! Always showing up for her…he had me in a puddle the entire book. I mean the mouth on him…LOVED IT.
This will always be one of most recommended hockey series…these books keep getting better. And the surprise at the end of this one had me screaming. I literally cannot wait to see what comes next from Hannah. Thank you to Hannah and team for the eARC.
