I have been anxiously waiting to start this new series from Catherine and she did not disappoint. She does such a fantastic job of writing romantic suspense. I absolutely devoured this story in a couple of days. I am obsessed. It grabbed my attention from the start and never let go.
I had an audio ALC and absolutely ate up this narration by Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber! They instantly brought Anson and Rho to life for me!

This one was such a great start to the series. The suspense in this one had me on the edge of my seat until the very end. I was in complete shock…never would of guessed.
Anson and Rhodes were EVERYTHING, from their adorable banter to their raw emotions to their INSANE chemistry. They both have been through so much, lost loved ones, and absolutely adored how they found comfort and safety with each other. I could not be more obsessed with two main characters.
Anson is hands down my favorite Catherine MMC now. He is the dreamiest, swoon-worthy, grumpy hottie ever….Swooooon. Plus his nickname for Rhodes is now my all-time favorite nickname!!
I can’t forget to mention that Catherine really stepped up her spice. This might be the spiciest I’ve ever read from her…so many moments that made me blush!
The found family in this one was top tier. Every single side character were phenomenal and cannot wait to know more about them and get their stories.

Catherine, you made me laugh, you made me smile, you made me feel so many emotions, and you made me sit at the edge of my seat. Absolutely loved this story. Thank you so much for the ALC.
