it was amazing

“What I felt for Millie was beyond the everyday love. She was my obsession, my rock, my everything.”
This man! 🙌🏻 He is everything! He is the definition of man obsessed. Also the touch her and die vibes are so strong with this one! Killian and Millie meet in college both are highly intelligent. Millie though is very socially awkward. Has zero friends, is in a senior level class at 19 and always has her head it the books. So when one day Killian decided he is going to basically force her into a friendship she doesn’t put up a fight. Over the course of the book you get to go back in time to watch how there friendship grows and eventually becomes more for both of them. Unfortunately Killian was forced to disappear without a word to anyone including Millie. He never forgot her though. In fact he went as far as to put cameras across the street of her house so he could watch her! I was freaking giddy over these two I could not get enough of the banter and the tension was top notch. I laughed more in this book than any of her others. I couldn’t get enough of Killians inner dialogue. On top of that you have Millie who is quirky and nerdy and has a heart of gold it’s just so hard not to fall in love with these two. For the plot holly cow Kennedy does it again! This plot has you hooked from beginning to end. The cult is freaking crazy! Definitely some cringy things happening there. I always love how for the prologue of her books we always get the killer or victims POV it adds an extra element to the story that immediately draws you in. I really can’t say enough about this book I absolutely loved it and am so grateful for the opportunity to read it!
