I love slashers and final girls! They are always empowering! That being said, the premise of this caught my interest. Combine that with the setting and I was ready to dive in. Thrillers with short chapters make me happy and this one definitely had short ones. I also thought the twist surprising which gets points in my book.
My only issue with this was that Tessa seemed VERY immature and at times, dumb. Who doesn't know about "signing contracts" ?! Also , her friends were brought up quite often but we had no way to "feel" for them because there was no background on them. It needed some depth in that area.
