First I want to say I love the Protection Series. Secondly, Mine to Shield is Kennedy L. Mitchell at her finest. This book is the most intense book in the series.

Killian and Millie’s worlds collide when she is asked to share her knowledge of cult life in order to find a missing person. Full of suspense, raw emotions, dander, and steam, Mine To Shield has everything you want in a second chance, enemies-to-lovers romance. Kennedy has written a gripping story with characters that are complex, captivating, and endearing. Even though this is a standalone, I highly recommend reading the books in order because each story in the series is the catalyst for the next book.
