Mine to Shield is an emotional, second chance, romantic suspense novel.
Millie & Killian met in University, when Millie is 19, and he basically forces her to be his friend.

10 years later, Millie has never forgotten Killian or stopped looking for him. She is now a successful Professor and that often consults with the local FBI, as her specialty is in cults.
While meeting regarding a current case & very dangerous cult she is stunned with Killian walks in, and it turns out he is one of the agents who will be working on the case.
Killian has always regretted walking away from Millie, but it was to keep her safe.
And now that he has found her again, he is not willing to walk away again.
Can Millie & Killian work together, and put their past aside to go undercover as a married coupler in a dangerous cult?
This was one exciting read! Full of suspense and steam. Killian and Millie are both very protective of one another, and I just loved them.
I can't wait to read more about Hunter!
