it was amazing

I wrote this review for Saucy Reviews on Kinky Korner.
This fast-paced book grabs your attention right from the beginning, and then you’re simply absorbed into the storyline until the end. Told from both lead characters' points of view, we get a good insight into each character and their backgrounds; having the story told in two different timeframes also helps.

Killian Cooper and Millie Anderson are both such interesting characters, and I think this is the main reason why I like this book so much. It’s different, intriguing, and definitely not a run-of-the-mill protector romance. I adore Millie; her social ineptitude and black-and-white honesty are refreshing. I love how much stronger she is now and has learnt how to stand up for herself. Killian has more mystique about him, which is another winner in my book because you crave the knowledge of why he left Millie and where he went. Millie and Killian balance each other so well, plus their chemistry is red hot!

Add in the suspense element and this book has it all! So much so I found myself scrolling as fast as I could read to discover what happens in the story. There are some very humorous moments throughout the book, mainly involving Millie; she is such a hoot—whether she is meant to be or not. Of course, you sit on the edge of your seat with anxiousness, too. Yes, you experience all of the emotions with the characters. I recommend this story wholeheartedly.
