I devoured this book. First let me say much like the other books in this amazing series(books can be read stand-alone) there are trigger warnings before the prologue. If you are nervous please check those before reading. okay now let me say I loved our sweet Millie from page one. She is small but mighty. She sweet, smart and to some naive but she is so young in college and has been left to pretty much learn life alone because others deem her odd, or antisocial. She meets Killian and there is an instant spark. She isn't repulsed by him like she is by most. Killian is a fierce protector throughout this entire book even though he's had to fave some horrible things he has never stopped protecting Millie. This book is about second chances all around. Finding your person and overcoming so much trauma, loss and well..a cult! You'll love the sweet and sassy Millie and charming handsome Killian. They are explosive together!
