This novel captivated me from the very start. Both main characters, especially Rowan, were incredibly compelling. I was blown away by this novel. While I've read the author's fantasy works before, I wasn't expecting such a captivating MM romance. Being a fan of MM romance, I devoured this book in one night because I simply couldn't put it down.

The character development, particularly of Ned and Rowan, was exceptional. Their evolving relationship from enemies to allies to something more was beautifully portrayed. The ending was satisfying, yet left me yearning for more.
