I am at a loss of words for this masterpiece. I started this and could not put it down. I needed to know how it was going to end. Catherine is the queen when it comes to romantic suspense. She always has me on the edge of my seat. I always think I have it figured out and then she throws a twist and I am completely wrong. And I am not even mad about it.

Shep!! He might be my favorite MMC Catherine has ever written. He has such a good heart and will literally do anything for the people he cares for. He was so amazing towards Thea…patient kind. UGH…heart melting. The way he could understand on another level…where is my Shep!!
THEA!! My heart broke for her and her story. Everything she went through was horrendous and could totally understand why she was so cautious with everyone. Not only did Shep heal Thea but she helped him heal as well. They balanced one another out and were literally perfect for one another. Also the nickname he has for her is the cutest!!!

This book was such a stunningly beautiful story and a roller coaster of emotions. Definitely a new favorite of mine from Catherine. I cannot wait to continue the series….especially since Catherine is writing a hockey player MMC. And we all know how I feel about hockey men.
