an interesting spin, finally a book in the series with heavier topics. it certainly held my interest and finished it within the day. parsnip certainly had to live tru humongous trauma and it showed in his snippy behavior which was annoying but refreshing at times. compared to the other pixies who were all hugs, sunshine and lovey dovey he showed some spirit.

the first villain plot was interesting and the showdown had me on the edge of my seat. but the secondary villain… i‘m so over the ari schemes plot, let it go
