THE FAVORITES gave me massive Taylor Jenkins Reid vibes, so just know that going into it. In the same vein of Daisy Jones & The Six, the story jumps from first person POV to interview transcripts, which is a really fun way for storytelling this drama. THE FAVORITES is a drama between a bunch of frienemies in the figure skating world, but it's ultimately a romance between two headstrong and highly controversial figure skaters. This book isn't usually something I would dive into, but since I love this author's latest releases, I knew that I needed to try it. The story is juicy drama from the start and the ending had my jaw hit the floor. I highly recommend this book to readers and I'm so proud of Layne Fargo for jumping into a different world of fiction. I'm excited to see where Layne Fargo goes next!
