firstly, someone tell me why anytime ava asked eli for answers or tried to talk, he just kissed her and then they fucked. i don't think they ever had a serious heart to heart conversation without fighting until the last chapter.

reasons i'm not the biggest eli fan:
- [ ] he called her a prostitute for dancing and having a sex life (hypocrite much?)
- [ ] he repeatedly told her what to wear and that just did not fly with me
- [ ] there was nothing that sociopathic about him. he killed only one person and that too bcs the person was legit about to molest ava. does not make him a 'psychopath'
- [ ] his constant slut-shaming was not it
- [ ] let's not forget about him not ever putting gemma in her place
- [ ] 'i own you' and 'i control you' and 'go change and wear something more decent' bs

i will give him some credit though, scenes where he was jealous had me panting for my breath (then i reminded myself i hate him but wtv) and the love confession was splendid as well.

this book felt like a spin off of elsa's parents if they had a happily ever after. and the amnesia? i think i've seen this film before (hello reina, how are you?). rina just woke up and decided to write a remix of her previous books. oh and how i can forget the part where ava is a virgin. SHE'S 23 FOR FUCK'S SAKE. get over your obsession with virgin fmcs please. ignoring this, ava was delightful. love me a strong fmc.

honestly the side characters kept me going and gave me strength. #forever an ariella and remi stan.

damien and mio's book better be good or i'll find myself a cliff to fall from <3
