This book is filled with Magic Mirrors (like Snow White) and Vampires. I love this combo! I really loved this turn of the century murder mystery. Quinn is just turning 23 and lives in a town that resembles New York City in the early 1900s. She watched her parents die due to a bad deal with one of the magical Mirrors that plagues her city. She grows up with her Uncle, who taught her how to perform autopsies and how to be a medical examiner. However, all she's ever wanted to be was a ballerina.
The night of her 23rd birthday, she is taken to the Mirrors by her friends, who want her to make a deal with one of the Mirrors as a coming of age rite of passage. Not long after, one of her friends meets a terrible end. She vows to find the killer of her friend.
