I love Holly's writing so so so much, and the Veiled Kingdom truly has my whole heart but book two just didn't hit the same as the book one. I loved being back in this world with all the characters a d immersed back in the story, but book two definitely felt more slow paced compared to book one.

Safe to say I loved Dacre again in this book and will continue to be in love with him!
