did not like it

It’s not the worst I’ve ever read but it’s a complete waste of time. The plot and writing feels more appropriate for late elementary students. If you like the teen titans, don’t read this.

Jay Mak I get your disappointment, but you're looking at this the wrong way. This book was a starting point for the OG Teen Titans team where they only have been a team for several months, not years. So this book was always going to focus on showing their personality traits, their flaws and developing their team dynamic because most people don't know what even are the personality traits of OG Teen Titans or what is their dynamic because they were one dimensional in the 60s and 70s. So we needed a story like this. You can't directly jump into a story about Teen Titans vs some Super-powered mass murderer. You need to first sell the character to the reader. Dick Grayson, Wally west and Donna Troy don't fight big bads like Trigon, Deathstroke and Fearsome Five until they're 18 or 19 in New Teen Titans when they were with Starfire, Cyborg, Beast boy and Raven.

Also, The book used Teenage themes that you always see in Teenage dramas or seasonal anime. So I don't see how this was for 11 year olds.
