I love reading collective biographies, and this example hits all the right notes. The writing is clear, witty, and engaging. The biographies are consise, humorous, light in tone, and easily engage the reader. I enjoyed learning about the fascinating women I should have learned about in history classes, and I highly recommend it to history buffs, biography fans, and women in general.
