really liked it

Molly Harper is skilled at building a setting and she does it so well you really feel like you’re there. And that’s not to say she slacks on her characters they feel like your besties. Riley is funny af, relatable (other than the haunted shit) and easy to root for.

Whimsical feee spirited Riley who’s had a variety of odd jobs finds herself locked in as a caretaker for an inherited haunted Victorian house after her aunt dies

As far fetched and supernatural the storyline….riley’s incredulity lent credibility

Pop Culture Connections:
•(Mitt: local guy that gives town tours on a bike reminded me of rob lowe parks n rec)
•Overall plot of her inheriting a haunted Victorian home reminded me of the comedy tv show Ghosts
•main guy is named Edison (minor qualm) so I changed his name to Eddie in my mind but in the cute way Jlo calls matthew mcconaughey eddie in the wedding planner
•ferries <3 forever will remind me of greys anatomy
