After really loving the novella in between the first book and this one, I was hoping to like this one more, but it felt pretty similar to book one in terms of my feelings towards it. Quite short, again, and I just didn't feel like we made quite as much progression as I wanted to. I think part of what I liked about book 1.5 was getting to see these two in the context of other people as well, and this book, like book 1, was basically just them stuck together for a fairly short period of time, and IDK, it just wasn't that interesting. :/
