[manhwa cr chapter: 50]
I hate this story and these characters because they drive me crazy with the sheer amount of pain and suffering they go through. Yet, somehow, I’ve grown so attached to them over just those fifty chapters that I can’t stop thinking about them, even after finishing the latest one. They are literally all I think about recently. It’s one of those stories that stresses me out while reading, but I can’t help but love it for exactly that reason. Stories like this are rare for me, but this one just got me.
The relationship between the two main characters is the furthest from being healthy or happy, but considering everything they’ve gone through—the trauma, the heartbreak and just everything—it makes sense. They’re both deeply broken and full of flaws, but somehow that only makes me feel closer to them. The expression of their emotions and feelings is so intense and painful that when they cry, I literally cry with them. I love how very slowly they learn what love really mean and slowly heal together. They’ve faced countless ups and downs, but I’ve heard they’ll get their happy ending, and the story seems to be slowly moving toward its conclusion. I can’t wait to see them finally reach the ending they deserve. I already know I’ll be crying like crazy when I read the final chapter.
This manhwa is not super popular, so hoping for a translation of the novel it’s based on is probably unrealistic. But I still really really really hope they publish it in English one day.
