i don’t know why but i didn’t love this book as much as i thought it would? i love ana huang and i reallyyyy wanted to love this book, but it was just okay? maybe it just wasn’t for me

Meghan Pulido I felt the same way! I thought the characters were literally missing the purpose of the word itself—“character”. I honestly couldn’t stand Asher after the last half of the book. He reminded me of an immature high school kid who can’t prioritize the good he has in his life. Scarlett was just kind of…boring compared to the other characters Ana wrote about. I don’t know if it’s because I’m just not into the sport romance genre of these books, but this one was a definite miss for me compared to her other series. I was a bit disappointed when I finally finished the book…
