Elidhi, her dream was to always be an actress, she loved it when she first started out, but she never realised how negative it could be. It has affected her mental health so much. The only silver lining is her long time crush Fyfe. Her brother's best friend and the man who will never see her as anything more than a friend also happens to be the person who unknowingly helps ground her.

Fyfe, growing up knowing he was unwanted was just heartbreaking. But he didn't let that stop him from being the successful person he is today. His intelligent, loyal and extremely successful but doesn't believe he deserves love or is capable of giving it, that's until Millie comes into his life and everything changes.

Elidhi, is also his silver lining, he just knows that there can't be anything more between them, until he realises that he has already fallen for her.

Omg!!! You guys, the final book in the Highland series and what an emotional ending it was.

Fyfe and Elidhi, their book was an amazing addition and end to this beautiful series. The emotions played a huge part in this book and the focus on mental health had a key part in it and Samantha wrote it beautifully.

I loved the backstory we had on these two characters and the sort of friendship that had developed between them.

The undeniable chemistry 🔥, the tension, the push and pull it was so dang intense.

Fyfe's jealousy and possessiveness🔥

The love he had for Millie ♥️ and Elidhi's love for Millie...it was just so freaking beautiful!

The mystery/ suspense weaved in kept this interesting and I loved those bonus epilogues!!!
