A new favorite Cali book... absolutely. She nailed the accidental pregnancy, but it's not his. Truth be told, I think it's such an UNDERHYPED trope.
Cali always writes a perfect MMC. This story of Riley & Nash is a beautiful blend of swoon and spice. The "my wife" moment in this book is *chef's kiss*. Nash has such a dirty mouth & whether in the bedroom or not he is all about Riley.
I absolutely loved Riley & Nash. Riley ends up pregnant with her ex's baby, who wants nothing to do with being a dad. Nash is her best friend's brother, and pro Hockey player who has always had feelings for Riley. When he finds out she's in a tough spot he gives her a proposal that has an expiry date. Only he wants it to be permanent. Riley is extremely independent & she doesn't know how to let Nash in, but when she gives in their relationship is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you Cali for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.
