I heard alot about chestnut series and I wanted to read it. So, I took the book 1 and met Rhett and Summer. ❤️

It was a good book. I won't say that it was wowww but yeah it was a one time read. I enjoyed few moments especially freckles one and actually loved it. Overall, I want to read other books in the series as well to see if my view change or not.

Rhett, he was a Bully rider and cocky Grumpy man with insecurities. Being Grumpy he had soft spot for our FMC. Summer, she was an okayish FMC for me. I wanted more from her character. I have read sweet rom com books . But i was expecting more from this. I understand that she was people pleaser but I really wanted her to take a stand and show her growth that o felt was missing.

I really love books with character depth and I wanted to dwell more into it.

That's were some moments that I really loved. When she call him adorable and he was smiling like anything. Their chemistry was good. But I was looking for more individuality of the characters.

"He has connected my freckles to say mine. GOD. In this moment, i feel like that might be true"

Overall it was a good read. Can't wait to read other books and see how it goes.
