Read 3 times. Last read June 5, 2022 to June 10, 2022.

This was at least my second reading, if not my third or fourth. And I've seen the movie innumerable times (especially since I have the dvd). And, yet, on every reading I wonder if I am misremembering. Agatha Christie has that effect on me. I always think, that can't be the way it was.

I am assuming that "white horses on the sea" is the same as "white caps". In every Christie book there is always some turn of phrase that leaves me momentarily puzzled.

2022 re-read - Never disappoints. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Jill Hutchinson I love that book. What a great story and I have read it twice and enjoyed it both times. Christie is a master!

Jan C Not sure I can count the number of times I have read it.

Came upon a precursor written by a couple in New Orleans who were journalists. I think theirs takes place in a luxury penthouse. I have it on my kindle but can recall neither their name nor the title of the book. One or both of them also did some screenwriting.
