This author shows her readers what returning vets must be feeling. This story can also be an affirmation not to give up on any of the soldiers who seem to have trouble adjusting to being home. But patience has to be your friend because anything worth fighting for may take some time on your part. And they just may need a little push from a loved one to get them to feel a part of something again.

Karen shows the reader that you don’t need sex to have a great book – you just need to be able to feel a connection between the two main characters. She also shows the reader that you may think you know someone and then they turn around and walk all over you but you need to be strong enough to show how much of a better person you are and don’t stoop to their level. It was a great read from start to finish and a great incentive to read more of this author’s work.
