Karen Rock is becoming a favorite author of mine. I love her Heartwarming stories. I was very drawn to both of the the main characters in this story. I know something of how war can haunt those than have been there. My dad served in Vietnam. His memories will always scar him. Because of this I could understand Niall's character. It was inspiring to watch him overcome some of this darkness and move on with his life. I enjoyed Kayleigh's spunk and courage to do hard things. She was breaking out of her comfort zone. We all have to do that sometimes. I could really relate to these characters as they struggled to open up and trust one another. I really felt like a part of their lives. Karen wrote another beautiful story.
