I really enjoyed this story. There were times when my heart broke for the characters, most of whom were dealing with a tragic loss. The romance itself was sweet and developed at the perfect pace. Other than some heavy kissing scenes the book was refreshingly clean. The focus wasn't on hopping into bed as fast as possible, but on the actual feelings developing between them. I absolutely adored the group of senior citizens in this book they were a hoot. This was the first book I have read by Karen Rock and I will be keeping my eyes open for more of her novels.
