Once again, Karen Rock has delivered an emotionally satisfying read that pulls the reader in and doesn't let go. I loved reading Niall and Kayleigh's story. Both characters were so well drawn that they felt like friends of mine. and. Rock did a phenomenal job of raising the stakes and keeping the momentum up throughout the book. I felt like the characters' responses to the conflicts felt genuine and the supporting characters had depth and were important to the story rather than being filler or comic relief.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an emotional romance that involves taking risks, keeping secrets you don't want to keep, & going into dark places to pull someone you love back into the light.
