A book about revenants that's set in Paris, I was excited to read this. It starts off very slow with the same YA tragedy where the MC's parents die and she moves to somewhere new (in this case, Paris) to live with her grandparents. She goes to this café where she meets the most handsome man she's ever seen, Vincent who also falls for her instantly for he hasn't seen anyone look so alone, so sad yet so devastatingly stunning that all he can do is think about her. So yeah, this was pretty much filled with the usual YA tropes and cliches. All the characters were also pretty immature even though some of them were quite old who looked young. Everyone of them is forgettable except Jules. I guess Jules was the only one that I kind of liked in this.
The plot was about revenants but like I said every other YA cliché was there in this book. I rolled my eyes a lot and already knew what was going to happen. Writing was okay though.
