Just when I start to think that everything has been done in Urban Fantasy a new author comes and surprises me!
I've been reading Chelsea's VBC blog for a while now and had totally all intentions of reading Borrowed Souls after it came out, but I kept forgetting about it and I'm so angry at myself for taking this long to read it.
Chelsea Mueller has managed to create such an interesting world akin to what Charlaine Harris did with vampires in the Sookie Stackhouse series, only instead of vampires we have souls. Instead of vampires coming out to society, society has started to 'rent' souls to do all their dirty deeds and keep theirs intact for heaven. And the results are messy and fun to follow along!

I loved the main character and the pureness of her soul. And Derek, her bad boy partner-in-crime, is her perfect match.
I am so thrilled and happy by this interesting series and I look forward to see what transpires next.
