As 2 stars indicate it was an o.k. book. Lady Brierley was not an ordinary lady of the Ton. She did things her way. She is shunned by society in the way she acts and dresses.
Lord Noah Edenhall is looking or her as he believes she is responsible for his best friends death. Of course they are attracted immediately.
Had 1 scene with sex which we turned me off and is mainly why I only gave it 2 stars.
