Back home and meet again with his childhood crush, is something Ben expected or not. Considering Jason still thought that Ben is his baby brother's best friend. But Ben is determined to get to know Jason again (even he's still shy when it comes to Jason). This time for better and he didn't want to steo back again. Good thing is, Jason finally realized that he found Ben is kind of 'different'. Of course, more attractive, and 'not a boy anymore'.
So, it's kind of hard to avoid Ben at some point. They're also have the same love for pets and one particular cat glued them together.
Ben also a little more bold this time, to test the water with Jason, so...one kiss under the mistletoe, leads to another.
I can say it's a little bit a slow burn between Jason and Ben. I was kinda pissed a little with Jason for running away from Ben that night because of what Liam's said (when he's drunk!).
Okay, he'd worked it out to win Ben's heart.
Thanks to Liam who sorted it out between Ben and Jason.
But this is a sweet and adorable Christmas story with the pets and not so much complicated like I used to like in my holiday reads.
