Sweet. Fun. Dirty.

I was so excited to jump back into Ellie and Kayne's world with their second chance romance. What surprised me the most was how much I laughed through most of this book. I love the witty banter between all of the characters and found myself highlighting all the lines that made me LOL.

“I couldn’t agree more,” he responds evenly. “They also deserve to be fucked. Maybe you should let your husband try it sometime. Right in your opinionated mouth.”

Ellie attempts to move on with her life, Kayne feels like he's lost his. Once reunited he tiptoes around her like a fragile doll while she is struggling inside with what she really needs from him. Jett is prominent in this book as well, love him! There may or may not be a hot MFFM scene in this one - oh la la!

The conflict was a bit predictable and I'm surprised that with all of the team's smarts that it all went down in the first place but I still enjoyed the ride. Looking forward to continuing this series with the side characters and seeing how things play out.
