I felt a bit underwhelmed by this book. I didn’t like any of the characters or the plot. The only thing that kept me going was the beautiful writing style.

I can see how this book is a great portrayal of it’s time and I really think that it captures the essens of the world but that was a about it. In the end I can’t say that I will ever think about this book again.
