Fantastic read! Cabin 12 is Book 2 in this author`s Rock Point series. The H/h in this book were introduced in Book 1, Keeping 6, but this one reads well as a standalone. Bella is our heroine, Damian`s sister from Keeping 6. Jasper, our hero, is an FBI agent working for Damian. First impressions are so often wrong. Jasper sees Bella as a pampered princess and she sees Jasper as a player. They quickly realize their error and so our romance begins. In terms of romantic suspense I enjoyed this story. It almost seems like two separate mysteries but as the layers to this story are revealed, we see how they are connected and the greater story arc appears. A smart, well-written, perfectly paced plot. Bella and Jasper's HEA is often a rocky one. In addition to the conflict of Jasper putting the moves on his boss's sister, we see Bella struggling with depression and the constant feeling of needing to prove herself to her family. And speaking of secondary characters..... we get to see much more of Bella's family and all their nosey , loving craziness. I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series (think I have a pretty good idea of which couple will be next). Great addition to the series!
