Andrew✌️ Nice review, Emma! I not found the story so humorous, some jokes from the main female character, but spooky, yes.
Furthermore, I don't know the audiobook version, but the paperback is made like an Ikea catalog, with description of many furnitures appeared in the chapters.

Kate I've read both, and My Best Friend's Exorcism is definitely better. The characters are more compelling and it definitely is creepier. Also, the cover is made to look like an old VHS case and it's great.

Djoume Lol man

Julie Gray I got about halfway through the audiobook and I really appreciate Hendrix's social commentary and realism and the descriptions of Orsk and of the ad campaigns, etc. were funny and ironic. But there is NO tension, no actual spooky stuff and I got tired of waiting for it.

Dipasha Rupani How to start reading the book

Mark Great review! I just finished the book today and couldn't agree more. I'm glad I read it, but I felt the premise had potential to be so much better.

Hannah Fugate Summed up my feelings almost exactly.

Tabitha Perfect review!

Rachel Weeks I LOVE My Best Friend’s Exorcism, especially the audiobook

Kennan Lukacs I’m not an audiobook person because it always takes away from the experience for me. I got all the humor through reading.

Mo Alright I’m in the camp that this was “fine” too. The writing was very simple, occasionally I wasn’t really sure I understood what was happening. It was an easy read but I had higher hopes. Especially with people claiming the book was set up like a catalogue? I was expecting something weird where I had to flip through and a “choose your own adventure” type of thing haha. It wasn’t awful, I almost wish it explored the beehive thing a bit more and drove home the corporate horror harder.
