I love this first book in a dragon series! I found it refreshing because there's a rider and a dragon bond that are similar to that of brothers. Brittany, while not what I'd call a kickass heroine, was strong-willed and resilient, which is one of the reasons, aside from being Dragonborn, that Zach and Iavo were drawn to her. I liked all their love scenes together particularly the first one.

I'm going to explore this author's other works.
