really liked it
bookshelves: to-read

This one was really good! I listened to the audiobook, and I think that hearing the different narrators for each person's chapters really elevated the story. I would highly recommend listening to the audiobook version! The setting was just as much a character as any of the others, with descriptions of eerie scenery, creepy headstones, and icy winds really creating the perfect spooky atmosphere.
I'll admit, I wasn't the biggest fan of The Hunting Party, but this one just really came together better in my opinion. While I felt the ending was wrapped up rather quickly, with things literally taken care of and explained in like two seconds, I really enjoyed the mystery and the characters. I found myself not wanting to leave the story because the cast was just fantastic, each person just as interesting and flawed as the last.
I can't wait to see what Lucy Foley comes up with next!
